| World famous Cellist, Clara Plank, is returning to Poland in 1971, after being away for 30 years. Before her Gala concert, her memories take her back to the time of WW2, when she, her husband and her young daughter hide from the Nazi army in the farm of a local woman. In hiding, a dramatic love triangle develops between the man and the Polish farmer, eventually forcing the Jewish family to its death.
